to suffer.
If it’s worth it
it won’t be easy
There’s a phrase in Chinese
my mother always said to me
再苦一點
The literal translation would
probably be along the lines of
“bitter a little more”
or even
“tough a little”
I guess what it truly means is
to suffer, to try, to fight, to hold on
just a little longer
a little more
She said and says that to me
(all the time)
when I tell her about any issue
I’m going through
or any reason as to why I am tired
再苦一點
(Just a little longer)
If it’s worth it
it won’t be easy
